I’m a storyteller at heart, and that passion has led me to multiple awards in documentary filmmaking and a deeply fulfilling career. My drive is to uncover the core of why people do what they do—highlighting the passionate, the artists, athletes, and nomads—because I believe film is one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting change.

Growing up in a small town outside Seattle, nature has always been a guiding influence in my work, reminding me we’re all part of a bigger picture.

Over the years, I’ve developed a visceral, authentic style—where atmosphere and environment are central to every story I tell. What keeps me coming back to filmmaking is the adrenaline and emotion that comes from creating art that goes beyond viewership to inspire action and wonder.

I decided to ditch high school at 17 to move to Tokyo and work as an office assistant. I didn’t know the language and had one work connection, but through a ton of grit and sushi, I learned invaluable skills in business and scaling companies that I still carry with me to this day. After leaving Japan I began transitioning into marketing and storytelling.

I spent several years at a video streaming service, quickly moving up the ranks in marketing and distribution, the company is now owned by Sony. In this role, I led marketing campaigns with a first-hand experience of exactly what’s required to excel in creating effective marketing strategies and audience engagement.

After working at Sony I moved on to start my own web-series where I interviewed people nationwide with the focus of learning their stories and sharing them with the world. This led me to LA where I immersed myself in acting, writing, and producing which further enhanced my love for storytelling in film production.
