OUTDOOR VOICES - A Wild Hues Original Spec Commercial

This motto really resonated with us as a brand. Cool people, doing things, outdoor, what else could you really ask for? The idea originated from the simple image of a stringed can. A stringed can was a creative way to incorporate this concept of connectivity and playfulness between people who love the outdoors.

We shot the commercial with a really tight-knit crew of talented cinematographers and even some friends that just wanted to play pickleball. There wasn’t a need for pro athletes, which is exactly why all of us fell in love with the concept of shooting for OV so appealing in the first place. Sometimes just getting outside and playing is all that’s required, we don’t need to be going full throttle to have fun.

What started as a spec commercial for Wild Hues will continue to evolve into a philosophy of creating assets we believe in for brands we connect with.
